Deposit / Payment Terms
Wedding Planning Inspiration Consultations / Wedmin – full amount to be paid prior to the consultation. Wedmin can be purchased in hourly blocks.
Wedding Venue Search – full amount to be paid before the searches commence.
Wedding Day Management – £300 deposit and final balance due 6 weeks before the wedding.
Wedding Weekend – £300 deposit, £500 3 calendar months before the wedding and final balance due 6 weeks before the wedding.
Partial Support – £500 deposit, £500 6 calendar months before the wedding and final balance due 2 calendar months before the wedding.
Total Support and Across the Miles – £500 to secure the date, followed by 25% within one calendar month, 25% 6 calendar months before the wedding and final balance due 2 calendar months before the wedding.
Any additional services after the balance has been paid will be invoiced 7 days after the wedding and are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
Wedding Planning Inspiration Consultations – any additional travel in excess of 50 miles* is charged at 45p per mile and invoiced 7 days after the consultation.
Wedding Venue Search (if visits agreed with prior arrangement) and Wedding Day Management – any additional travel in excess of 250 miles* is charged at 45p per mile and invoiced 7 days after the searches / wedding.
Wedding Weekend – any additional travel in excess of 500 miles* is charged at 45p per mile and invoiced 7 days after the wedding.
Partial Support – any additional travel in excess of 750 miles* is charged at 45p pre mile and invoiced 7 days after the wedding.
Total Support and Across the Miles – any additional travel in excess of 1000 miles* is charged at 45p per mile and invoiced 7 days after the wedding.
If the wedding is more than 75 miles away* the cost for overnight accommodation close by would be requested, normally the night before / night of the wedding.
If Amaranthyne Weddings are in attendance on your wedding day, the client agrees that a hot meal will be provided for Amaranthyne Weddings, whenever is convenient for the venue / caterer during the Wedding Breakfast (this can just be a main course). The client also agrees that soft drinks can be provided for Amaranthyne Weddings during the course of the day.
Any changes to the agreement and additional planning services may be booked independently but must be done so in writing, these will be added on to the final balance.
The client agrees to pay all suppliers on time according to their payment schedule. Amaranthyne Weddings are not liable for any suppliers who cancel their agreement because the client has not made payments in time. All fees due are paid direct to each supplier by the client.
Service and Responsibility
The client should make their own decisions based on the evidence and options presented to them. Amaranthyne Weddings are not liable for consequential loss. No compensation will be given to the client after the event if dissatisfaction is not made known to Amaranthyne Weddings straightaway and in reasonable time for a resolution to be made.
The client has the responsibility as a client of Amaranthyne Weddings to provide contact names, telephone numbers and any scheduled timetables for all service providers that they have not been contracted to source no later than 14 days prior to the wedding or upon signing of the letter of agreement.
The client has the responsibility to notify Amaranthyne Weddings of any changes made by the client, in a timely manner and shall not hold them liable for any changes.
Amaranthyne Weddings will be entitled to use their professional judgement when taking action to solve problems unless the client expresses otherwise in writing.
If delivery of services is delayed by cause outside the control of Amaranthyne Weddings (including but not limited to transport strikes, industrial action or extreme weather) they will inform me of such a delay. The client agrees to allow reasonable time for completion.
Duration and Termination
The agreement comes into force on the day the agreement is signed. It terminates automatically one day after the wedding or when the services are complete, whichever comes first. The agreement can be cancelled by the client at any time however in case of early termination the client agrees to pay the following cancellation fees: –
- 13 calendar months and over to the wedding – loss of the deposit
- 9-12 calendar months to the wedding – loss of the deposit plus 25% cancellation fee
- 6-9 calendar months to the wedding – loss of the deposit plus 50% cancellation fee
- 3-6 calendar months to the wedding – loss of the deposit plus 75% cancellation fee
- 0-3 calendar months to the wedding – loss of the deposit plus 100% cancellation fee
The above payment terms are only applicable on the Wedding Day Management, Wedding Weekend, Partial Support, Total Support and Across the Miles options as the other services are paid for up front and are therefore not possible to terminate. The above payment terms are also applicable for Hired Items.
The client agrees that any outstanding fees payable will be paid within 14 days. Any money owed by Amaranthyne Weddings to the client after cancellation will be returned within 14 days in the same manner it was paid. The client agrees to cancel all bookings with third party suppliers.
This agreement is in accordance with and governed by English Law. Parties submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts, but European law cannot be excluded.
Amaranthyne Weddings are insured for public liability (£5m) and professional indemnity (£1m) and evidence may be produced on request.
The client agrees that Amaranthyne Weddings can take photographs on the day of the wedding to add to their portfolio and for use on their website. The client also agrees that Amaranthyne Weddings can contact their professional photographer to have a selection of photographs, again to add to their portfolio and for use on their website (linked back to the photographer). The latter is also at the agreement of the photographer, so that there is no violation of copyright.
