2015 / 2016 WEDDING DRESS TRENDS
October 6, 2014
Absolutely loving all of the gorgeous dresses for the 2015 / 2016 season at the moment. Back in April of this year I was lucky enough to be invited to see the new collection of Elizabeth Stuart’s dresses in London. So many gorgeous new designs, with Moonflower, Petal and Hollis being my favourites. Elizabeth’s designs are just stunning with luxurious fabrics that curve around the body beautifully and that float when you walk to perfection. I also love the risqué element of some of her latest designs too including the gorgeous crop top of Moonflower.
Also in July of this year I was really lucky to style a wedding dress shoot for a new designer that has moved to my hometown from the States. Sheena’s dresses are made to perfection and her designs really capture what a wedding dress should be, simple, elegant, stylish and wow. Lady Lola, Lady Claire, Lady Sheryn and Lady Sheena are among my favourites.
There really are some gorgeous designs out there at the moment, low backs are definitely in, as is lace, gorgeous sleeves and detailing, as well as showing off a bit of leg and abs, the crop top is certainly in. The slimmer fit gown is really on trend to show off your figure. Pictured below are a few of my favourites:-
Thanks to Paul Massey of Massey Photography Lincoln, Sheena Solis, Estera Sutton of Kokoshka, Charlotte Land of La Belle Vie Hair, Jenny Knight of Flower Barn and Eleanor Cooper for their hard work on Sheena’s Styled Shoot, an amazing team of people. Paul’s images are incredible and looking forward to working with him and Estera in a few weeks on another exciting venture. Also thank you to The Cloud Bar Lincoln for kindly letting us use their roof terrace for the shoot and to Glitzy Secrets for loaning us some beautiful headdresses.
Thanks to Elizabeth and Belinda at Elizabeth Stuart for always being so lovely and for keeping me updated on their new designs – looking forward to seeing the New York Collection very soon.
Update soon
