2015 ROUND UP
January 1, 2016
Happy New Year! Wow what an incredible year 2015 was, so many highlights. Where to start…..
As most of you know, in 2014 I was lucky enough to be offered the newly created role as Director of Romance at Washingborough Hall, Lincoln to work on their gorgeous exclusive weddings alongside the lovely Lucy Herring with the addition of the Winston Room which was completed in March 2015, as well as the Ingleby (New Bridal Suite). The weddings there are stunning in the Georgian Country Manor House, every one unique, beautiful and tailored to each couple. I’m still over the moon to be part of the Washingborough Hall team and very much looking forward to my future there. I coordinated and managed around 20 weddings at the hall last year as well as assisting with others, organising a couple of wedding open days, open evenings and styled shoots and being a guest blogger with WeddingDates, as well as much more.

Within Amaranthyne I also worked on a number of other beautiful weddings, including working with a couple from Australia for their wedding in the Lake District, as well as organising and styling a couple of photo shoots.
Because of my Director of Romance role at Washingborough Hall I now only take on a limited amount of other weddings in order for me to give my best attention and support to every couple.

I was also lucky enough to be featured on some blogs and a number of magazines, including one of my styled shoots, as well as being asked to give expert advice on wedding related topics. I also attended the UKAWP Wedding Planning Excellence 2015 Conference in Surrey to network with some of the best in the industry and listen to some truly inspirational speakers.
The lovely Sheena Solis Bride named a wedding dress after me as a thank you for organising a styled shoot to launch her first collection in the UK. I’m still totally honoured by this way of a thank you.

I also scooped up a couple of awards and as part of the team at Washingborough Hall we scooped up a couple there as well. Awards achieved were:-
Amaranthyne Wedding Industry Experts Awards 2015
Most Popular Wedding Planner in Lincoln and Lincolnshire
Second Most Popular Wedding Planner in the UK
Most Popular Event Stylist in Lincoln and Lincolnshire
Third Most Popular Event Stylist in the UK
Washingborough Hall
Top Rated Venue Winner (Lincolnshire and East Midlands) 2015 – WeddingDates
Wedding Venue of the Year 2015 – Lincolnshire Life
2016 is already looking incredible, the best year to date. There are lots of stunning weddings at Washingborough Hall, as well as Amaranthyne ones.
I’m currently working with couples in Canada and Australia and looking forward to assisting with weddings in Lincolnshire, Rutland, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and Shropshire as well as the stunning Washingborough Hall of course.
Huge thanks goes out to my lovely husband for always believing in me, Genevieve (for being a little star with mummy’s busy schedule) and my family and friends for all of their continued support and understanding. Big hugs to you all.
Thank you also to all of the lovely wedding suppliers I worked with last year. Some dream teams were certainly created and lifelong friendships made.
As I said 2016 is going to be an epic year and I really can’t wait to share images with you. More dream teams are being created as well as beautiful weddings, exciting times are certainly ahead.
