A ROYAL STATELY HOME

Dear all

On Monday I was fortunate and lucky enough to be at Goldsborough Hall  with other Wedding Planners as part of the WPS High End Wedding & Event Management programme.

Goldsborough Hall is a 400 year old Jacobean Royal stately home which has been beautifully restored and is tucked away in the small village of Goldsborough near Harrogate.  Once home to Princess Mary, the Hall is now a private family residence set in 11 acres of picturesque gardens, with stunning views over open parkland.

They offer luxurious bed and breakfast or exclusive hire as the perfect venue for weddings, private parties and corporate functions.

Whilst there I had chance to have a look around and I wanted to share a few of my pictures with you as every room was stunning in a different way.

The brilliant and I feel very important factor about having your wedding at Goldsborough Hall is the fact that you get exclusive use, so important I feel for a Bride.  You also have the choice of getting married in one of the three elegant state rooms or the neighbouring 13th century church.

The food and hospitality we had on Monday was brilliant.  I have a wheat allergy and they catered for me fantastically.  They had even done a gluten free chocolate brownie for me for dessert, and wow, it was to die for!

All in all, a beautiful venue, lovely people and hospitality and in my opinion a perfect  place to get married.  The grounds are stunning as well as the house itself and all rooms have spectacular views.

So if you happen to be in the Harrogate area or fancy a trip there, please do try and do a bit of a detour to look around this beautiful venue.
