NEW LOOK AMARANTHYNE
April 4, 2016
After 4 years in the wedding industry it was time for a freshen up and rebrand. I decided not to change my business name, why would I? This name is what people know me as and what I have built up a reputation with since April 2012. It was time for a freshen up of colour palette, logo and website but certainly not the name. I did however decide that I no longer wanted to do other events. My passion is wedding celebrations (whether that be religious, civil, a blessing or even a vow renewal) and that is what I want to concentrate my efforts on.
I wanted a really fresh and natural colour palette that was timeless, classic and elegant. I feel that the initials of my company on a ‘stamped seal’ design are now worthy after 4 years and over 70 weddings. I love the intricate and romantic design with the delicate lettering . Believe me there were lots of versions before this one was chosen. So a huge thank you to Paul at Primoweb for lots of patience! You are a real star!
I also wanted to choose 3 words that summed up my multi award winning business which are Exquisite, Elegant and Exclusive. All of my clients receive a service that is all 3 of these things. I stop at nothing to ensure they receive the day they wish for. The majority of my weddings are from recommendations and word of mouth, so important when you are planning the most important day of your life and celebrating with family and close friends.
In terms of my title, I’ve been wedding planner, creative wedding director, creative director, owner. Wedding Planner is not a word I particulary like as it sounds very bossy, pushy and not me at all. I just settled with Wedding Director as that is what I am at the end of the day, to ensure your wedding goes in the right direction with an honest and calm wedding professional who is a real investment to your wedding planning journey.
My website update really reflects me now as well, so have a browse and see what you think. I love the ‘Lookbook’ section as well as the updated services and of course the ‘Lovely Words’ section.
It has been a rollercoaster 4 years but it has now all certainly paid off. I have my own wedding planning studio in the beautiful cathedral / cultural quarter of Lincoln, as well as working closely with a gorgeous country house wedding venue as their Director of Romance alongside the lovely owner Lucy on their weddings. As well as this I have a number of freelance weddings (this is why I needed the rebrand and update) to really attract the right clientele and to work on some pretty amazing weddings outside of those at Washingborough Hall, and believe me this year there are some gorgeous ones that I can’t wait to share.
Exciting times are certainly ahead.
Update soon
