FIRST DANCE IDEAS
Dear all
You are underway with planning your wedding, you think everything is in hand and sorted out, but have you thought about your first dance song? If there is a song that means something to you as a couple? Was it the song that was number one when you first met or when you got engaged?
If you are struggling for ideas, listed below is what some of the celebrities picked for their special day:-
- Kate Moss & Jamie Hince – “If There is Something” by Roxy Music
- Kate Middleton & Prince William – “Your Song” by Elton John (performed by Ellie Goulding)
- Drew Barrymore & Will Kopelman – “No One’s Gonna Love You” by Band of Horses
- David Beckham & Victoria Adams – “It Had To Be You” by The Starlight Orchestra
- Michael Buble & Luisana Lopilato – “Everybody Loves Somebody” by Dean Martin
- Mark Zuckerberg & Priscilla Chan – “Last Night On Earth” by Green Day
- Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries – “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green
- Paul McCartney & Nancy Shevell – “My Valentine” by Paul McCartney
Unfortunately Kim and Kris’s song choice probably wasn’t the best as their marriage only lasted 72 hours!
The main thing is to pick something that is special to you as a couple. If you have a Band playing the first set for your evening reception, ensure that your first dance choice is something they are happy to cover or you may want them to do their own spin on it. Just make sure you have heard it first and are 100% happy. The first dance is a really important part of your wedding day and a real special moment for the new Mr and Mrs.
