IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME AND PROPOSALS / ENGAGEMENTS

It’s that time of year when proposals are most popular. Christmas, New Year and Valentines Day are still the most popular times to get engaged. Exciting times are ahead and once you have shouted it from the rooftops it is time to spend a month or so thinking about what type of wedding you want, your budget, time of year, guests, etc. It is worth spending a little bit of time thinking about all of these aspects before you start choosing a date and looking at venues.
Once you have made your decisions, shortlist some venues and start to have a look and see if they are available on your preferred wedding date. Once you have made a decision on your venue, get your save the dates sorted out and sent so that people know to keep your wedding day free. This is especially useful if you are getting married on a weekday, bank holiday or during the summer or Christmas time.
Once the venue is sorted out you can start to think about everything else, with your wedding dress being quite high on the list.
